With great enthusiasm, the community of El Espíritu, in Copán , celebrated the inauguration of the school that benefited from the 3,000-kilometer race that Shin Fujiyama began last July.
The Ramón Rosa Basic Education Center now has a completely remodeled module and an additional classroom that will allow students to receive classes in decent conditions.
For years, the children at this school had to adapt to studying in a galley, an improvised and limited space that made the learning process difficult.
However, thanks to the solidarity of Shin Fujiyama and all Hondurans and foreigners who contributed with donations, this transformation was possible.
This is one of ten schools that will be remodeled with the money Shin Fujiyama earns from the 3,000-kilometer race he has been running since July 15.
