Shin Fujiyama says goodbye to El Salvador and prepares to arrive in Honduras today

Japanese influencer Shin Fujiyama , known as the hero of Honduran education, is about to complete his impressive 3,000-kilometer journey through three countries that will end today with his arrival in Honduras.
After 106 days of racing under sun, rain and some health problems, Fujiyama left this Sunday from the Tejutla detour, El Salvador, towards Honduras, where he will be received with great enthusiasm in the department of Ocotepeque.
Fujiyama shared her excitement on social media, expressing her joy at returning to Honduras, where she hopes to “dance the punta catracha” and enjoy traditional baleadas and pollo chuco.
“Honduras, see you soon,” reads a recent post.
As he approaches the border, Fujiyama faces day 106 of his 3,000km challenge, motivated by the knowledge that many people will be waiting to welcome him.
His goal is to be in Honduras between 12:00 and 1:30 in the afternoon, and his arrival in the department of Ocotepeque promises to be a memorable event for all his followers in the country.
The beloved Japanese, who has dedicated his life to education in Honduras, has shared a moving message that has touched the hearts of many Hondurans.
In his video, the influencer reflected on his decision to move to the Central American country after graduating, with the mission of helping unprotected children. “Despite my imperfections, you adopted me as one more son,” he expressed with gratitude.
Fujiyama also thanked the people for their support and trust, highlighting the warmth she received in difficult times. “When I was afraid, you taught me to be brave; when I thought about giving up, you showed me that I should never throw in the towel,” she said.
The influencer also mentioned how the Honduran culture has completely enveloped him, yearning for the smells and flavors of the local cuisine, as well as the warmth of its people. “100 days ago I said goodbye to the country that I love with all my heart, without knowing if I was going to win or die in this crazy 3,000-kilometer challenge,” he confessed.
He concluded his message with emotion by thanking everyone for believing in him, hoping to reach Honduras alive and reaffirming his love for the country that has welcomed him with open arms.
The Japanese influencer traveled to Mexico, Guatemala and El Salvador, where President Nayib Bukele surprised him by donating two bitcoins from his personal wallet.
Currently, Fujiyama has managed to raise on its official donations site, about 417,502 dollars (that is, about 10,542,902.58 lempiras) of a goal of 500,000 thousand dollars to build another 10 schools in Honduras.
