Shin Fujiyama ‘s girlfriend Yeimi Licona greeted him with a huge kiss after the Japanese man arrived at the border crossing of ‘El Poy’, between Honduras and El Salvador, after 105 days running from the border of Mexico with the United States to complete his 3,000 kilometer challenge to raise funds to build schools in Honduras.

After a few minutes, the Japanese philanthropist continued his journey, while Yeimi continued on a bus.
Shin was greeted by hundreds of people who came to greet him and congratulate him on his achievement. Banners, music, shouts and applause were not lacking on Shin’s arrival in Ocotepeque, where he will be given the keys to the city as a gesture of recognition.
Fujiyama has traveled to three countries (Mexico, Guatemala and El Salvador) as part of the challenge to raise funds, which will be allocated to education in Honduras.
