Slim Thug Defends Megan Thee Stallion Over Gayle King Controversy: ‘Nobody Wanna Say That’

Slim Thug has come to Megan Thee Stallion‘s defense in the wake of her admission that she lied about having slept with Tory Lanez in a televised interview.
The Houston Hottie came under fire late last week after a clip from her new documentary In Her Words made its way online. In the video, Meg admits to lying about the nature of her relationship with Tory Lanez during an 2022 interview.
While the revelation prompted Lanez’ supporters and others to criticize Megan Thee Stallion, Slim Thug sided with her, saying that he would have probably handled the situation the same way.
“Who the f*** wanna tell who they slept with?” Thug says in a video shared to Instagram on Friday (November 1). “Nobody wanna say that. I wouldn’t have said no s**t on national tv anyway. Who the f*** wanna say who they slept with on ABC News. Shut the f*** up! Y’all so stupid! Y’all so slow man.”
He added: “You gonna ask somebody who they slept with on ABC? What are we doing? You ain’t gotta tell people who you slept with, weirdo. Would you go on the news and tell somebody who you slept with? That’s the dumbest s**t for her to even ask her that anyway.”

Back in April 2022, Megan Thee Stallion sat down for an emotional interview with Gayle King on CBS Mornings where she opened up about the shooting, for which Tory Lanez was later sentenced to 10 years in prison.
When asked by King about her relationship with Tory, Megan replied: “We were not dating. We were really close, we were friends. We hung out, like, every day. His mom passed too, so I feel like we were bonding over that.”
She continued: “I didn’t have a sexual relationship with Tory.”
Despite denying to Gayle King that she and Tory had sex, Megan testified during the December 2022 trial that she was in fact sleeping with the rapper at the time of the shooting.
As Rolling Stone reported, Megan told jurors that she was “embarrassed” about the non-exclusive relationship and considered it irrelevant to the actual shooting.
“There is not a day that goes by where somebody is not calling me a liar or is not shaming me for being a grown woman and having sex. This whole story has not been about the shooting, it’s only been about who is Tory having sex with,” she said on the witness stand.
“I don’t understand why that matters. Tory came out and told so many different lies, about me not being shot, about him not being the shooter, and making this all about a sex scandal.”
Tory’s legal team has responded to Megan’s comments in the documentary, saying to TMZ: “The fact that Megan lied about her sexual relationship with Tory obviously makes her an unreliable witness. If someone lies in front of millions of people, how can you trust what they say any other time?”
Lanez is currently pursuing an appeal of his conviction and recently claimed that the gun used in the shooting had gone missing.
