Where is 24-year-old Agostina Rubini Medina? The Spanish student was last seen going out on the Spanish island of Majorca on Oct. 2. A macabre trail is now under intense investigation.
The Spanish national police now assume that after a night out, Agostina Rubini Medina (24) ended up in a dumpster that was later emptied by a garbage truck and taken to the incinerator. This would appear from surveillance camera footage reconstructing the path taken by the student on the fateful night. The student allegedly ended up in a dumpster when she was looking for something, presumably her phone. And that dumpster was emptied the same night by a garbage truck that triggered the pressing mechanism. The garbage truck then drove to the incinerator as planned to dump the contents.
A witness reportedly saw her handbag and blouse at the dumpster. Tracking data from Agostina’s phone also shows that she was there for over half an hour, after which the smartphone was transferred to the incinerator. For now, no remains were recovered.
