An alleged thief , who was interviewed by an Ecuadorian media outlet, claimed that people are to blame for having their belongings stolen .
According to what he said before the cameras of Ecuador’s TC Television, “People themselves make you a thief because they walk around with their phones hallucinating and make themselves robbed.”
The Ecuadorian, whose identity is unknown, had a backpack in his possession where, apparently, he was storing his daily thefts , including cell phones.
He also argued that it is not only ” professional thieves ” who take advantage of the fact that residents walk around the streets with their devices in plain view of everyone.
” A thief who is not a thief steals , because people walk around with a good phone and they themselves make you into a lizard,” he said.

“What I understood is that people make it so easy for them to steal, that even someone who doesn’t steal feels the urge”; “I always knew it was my fault” and “I justify not dieting because people sell food” are some of the comments.
The identity of the thief is currently unknown, as is whether he has been arrested, since he confessed to his crime.
