Uncle Luke has criticized members of the Latino community in America for voting for Donald Trump in last week’s presidential election.

The controversial Hip Hop legend has made his support for Kamala Harris well known and he had little sympathy for Latinos and Hispanics who could be hit by Trump’s anti-immigration policies.

In an Instagram Live, Luke said: “All y’all who didn’t vote for Kamala, y’all stupid ass gon’ get deported. Y’all having marches and shit already. We are not going out there to march. Black people are not going to march for you. I’m sorry, we will not be marching. It’s no more such thing as Black and brown people. It’s Black. We will not be marching with you.”

He added: “The line got drawn last Tuesday. We know where we stand with all y’all. White people know where they stand with white women. Black people know where they stand with Hispanics. We though y’all were our friends. Y’all go through some things, we be out there fighting and marching and then you do this.”

The 2 Live Crew rapper concluded with a brutal taunt: “Now you got to worry about the little Black ladies who sitting there looking out the window calling the people on you. Hey ICE. They going to be singing the song. ‘Ice Ice Baby.’”

At the 2024 election, Trump did receive a large uptick of votes from the Latino community despite his comments about Mexico and Puerto Rico that were widely perceived as racist.

According to Reuters, 46% of people who identify as Hispanic voted for Trump, up around 12% from 2020 when he lost to Joe Biden.

While Luke bemoaned Trump’s return to the White House, a number of figures within Hip Hop were happy that the Republican triumphed over Kamala Harris.

Ever the pragmatist, 50 Cent appeared enthused by Trump’s victory: “I don’t care how the fight goes, I’m leaving with the winner shit,” he wrote on Instagram alongside photos of the two of them together at a black tie event. “I still don’t know what’s going on [facepalm emoji] congratulations!”

Lil Pump added: “All these rappers that got paid to endorse Kamal[a] Harris you’re fucking losers you can’t pay me to endorse Donald Trump. I stand on what’s right.”
