A driver foiled a street robbery by running over a motorcycle thief. Video of the incident shows how the driver took justice into his own hands.

A new case of vigilante justice was captured on video and shared on the social network X, showing how a private driver ran over a motorcycle thief, thwarting a robbery in Barrancabermeja, Colombia.
The incident occurred when a pair of motorcycle thieves attempted to rob a pedestrian of his belongings.
In the images shared by the @ColombiaOscura account, the driver can be seen hitting his accomplice, who was waiting on the motorcycle, while his partner fled with a stolen suitcase. The criminal falls when he hits a sidewalk, and the driver continues on his way, turning down another block.
Meanwhile, the robbery victim chases the thief and manages to recover his suitcase by beating him, forcing the criminal to flee and even leaving behind his shirt in the process. The motorcycle used in the crime was abandoned at the scene.
While some users applauded the driver’s action, others advised not to resort to justice into one’s own hands and to leave the resolution of these cases in the hands of the authorities.
