Security cameras captured the moment when a man robbed a flower shop to bring an expensive ‘ buchón bouquet ‘ to his girlfriend , who proudly showed it off on Instagram.
The affected store, “El Mirador,” located in El Carmen, Nuevo León, Mexico, released the security video of the robbery, which shows the moment when the man takes the bouquet valued at approximately 1,200 pesos (more than 1,500 lempiras).
The incident occurred on October 24, and the flower shop soon detected the post by the assailant’s girlfriend, who uploaded a photo of the “buchón bouquet”, made up of roses and chocolates , without knowing that the origin of her “romantic detail” was a crime.
The woman, in an apparent oversight, tagged the robber in her post , which made it easier for the store workers to identify the assailant and file a complaint with the authorities.
The florist responded to the bride’s post, commenting: ” If your boyfriend, husband, lover brought it to you, I inform you that he did not buy it .”
This message raised suspicions among other social media users, who also reported seeing two men quickly leaving the store with the characteristics described in the complaint.
The security video, which clearly shows the act, has been handed over to local authorities as evidence.
It is not known whether the man who stole the bouquet to give to his loved one was arrested by the relevant authorities.
