The chilling moment when the missile crushed the man became a trending topic on social media.
A Palestinian man was crushed to death by the debris of a missile launched by Iran towards Israel and the chilling moment was captured on video. The incident occurred in the village of Nu’eima, near Jericho, in the West Bank.
In the clip, which was shared on social media, the man, identified as Sameh Asli, originally from Jabalia in Gaza , can be seen walking on a sidewalk at night.
Suddenly, a huge fragment of the missile fell on him. Within seconds, the piece of metal crushed the man, who lost his life immediately.
The Iranian attack, which involved the launching of around 200 missiles towards various Israeli cities, caused warning sirens to sound across much of the country, including Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.
The strike is believed to be linked to the deaths of Hezbollah leaders and other Iranian allies in recent Israeli airstrikes, including the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah .
