Recently, a video titled ‘Doña Rosa, donde patan a Jóvenes’ (Doña Rosa, where young people are beaten with a baton) showing an incident that occurred in the Michoacán market has gone viral on social media. In this clip, a pair of men are seen being punished with baton blows after attacking an elderly woman in the municipality of Sahuayo.
The attackers were recorded in a hallway of the Morelos Municipal Market, where they mocked and attacked a woman named Rosita, who is in charge of cleaning the place.
In the recording, you can see how the subjects pull the woman, who, according to the tenants, suffers from a mental health problem. In addition, they assault her with sexual simulations, all this in front of premises 43, where Taquería Alanís is located.
This unfortunate incident occurred while the woman was sweeping the aisles of the market, just after the shopkeepers had closed their businesses. The recording, which lasts 29 seconds and captures both the assault and the suffering of the victim, has been widely circulated, generating outrage and rejection in the community

The 29-second recording of Ms Rosa , where the assault is recorded and her suffering at the hands of some young people can be heard, has gone viral. The following day, a video was made public in which the attackers are punished by a group of people who, it is presumed, belong to a criminal group.
In this new clip, the woman’s two attackers are lying face down in a rural area, with their pants down, while being hit with a board on the buttocks, causing visible injuries.
It is important to note that this video is not recent; the recording dates back to late June 2024. However, it has circulated again on social media, where many users have left their comments about it.
Some have praised the anonymous justice, suggesting that those who filmed should also be punished. “Excellent, we have to show that in Mexico we do not allow these barbarities ,” can be read in several comments.
