The exact moment when young Kamila Pacassi Zanga died at the hands of her ex-partner, Eddy ‘C’, inside her educational center in the city of La Paz, Bolivia, was captured on video.
It was on October 15 that the man entered the classroom of the Simón Bolívar Higher School for Teacher Training, in Caranavi, where the 23-year-old woman was studying to become a teacher.
According to initial reports, Kamila was intercepted by Eddy while she was in class. After a brief conversation, the young man pulled out a knife and stabbed her repeatedly, shouting that he “loved” her as he committed the femicide.
The companions tried to stop the attack, but they were unable to restrain Eddy, who was out of control. Kamila was stabbed at least 12 times.
Despite the rapid intervention of paramedics and police, the young woman did not survive her injuries and was declared dead at the scene.
Kamila’s mother, Salome Zunga, has demanded justice, asking for the maximum sentence for the attacker, who murdered her daughter in an educational facility, while her classmates looked on helplessly.
Authorities are still investigating the motives behind this crime that has shocked the community.
