The act took place during a Halloween party in Tamaulipas and according to the video, the young man hit the young woman several times, leaving her unconscious and in a serious state of health. This is why multiple sectors questioned the safety of the young women from the state of Mexico.
Following the crimes committed by Melanie’s boyfriend, who is currently a fugitive from Mexican justice, the Attorney General’s Office of Tamaulipas issued an arrest warrant and is offering a reward of $200,000 to locate the aggressor.

Melanie remains hospitalized at the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) Regional General Hospital No. 6, where specialized doctors are providing her with care for the serious injuries to her face, including inflammation in her left eye.
