“Honestly? It’s been awful. It’s probably been the hardest year of my life,” he confided in an interview. Prince William has had a particularly trying year following the news that his wife, Kate Middleton, and his father, King Charles III, had cancer. He also wanted to highlight the courage of his two loved ones: “So it’s been very difficult to get through everything else and stay the course. But I’m very proud of my wife, I’m proud of my father, for handling the things that they’ve done,” reports The Mirror.
He concluded: “From a family and personal point of view, it’s been brutal.”
