Wizkid responds as singer Ruger begins to cry as they are about to drop songs on the same day

Grammy-Award winner Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun professionally known as Wizkid has responded after his junior colleague Ruger begins to cry as they are about to drop songs on the same day.

Some hours ago, Wizkid made it known to all and sundry via his official page on X that his second song dubbed “Dance” off his forthcoming album “Morayo” will be released on November 15th. The singer had earlier disclosed that his album Morayo will drop on November 22nd 2024.

In a tweet Wizkid wrote; “Dance! 15th ! 🩶🦅.”

In response to Wizkid’s post announcing the release date of his upcoming song, singer Ruger reacted with crying emojis, saying he had purposely avoided releasing his own track on the same day as Wizkid. Despite his efforts, the “Essence” star ended up setting his release date to match Ruger’s planned drop.

Ruger wrote; “God !!!! You and I know I tried to avoid Big Wiz’s date 😭😭. God Abeg 😂😂😂😂.”

In a reaction to the above Ruger’s post, Wizkid shows some support for the singer stressing that they are together in this and his fans know as FC will stream his song as well.

Wizkid said; “We gather Dey together ! ❤️🦅”

An X user identified as@mo_bolaji_ added; “Fc dey for Ruuuu” and Wizkid reacted; “No be lie ❤️🦅.”

This is not the first time Wizkid will be showing some love to singer Ruger. In June 2024, Wizkid Wizkid declares so much love for Ruger’s smash hit single “Make Way”

Wizkid tweeted; “Yo i truly love Ruger’s make way! ❤️? that guy amazing!”

Ruger who didn’t see this coming loses it completely as he disclosed that he felt like going crazy following the love shown to him by Wizkid.
