Shocking accident in factory was recorded on video; worker dies after being trapped in compactor machine.
An industrial accident has rocked a scrap metal recycling factory in China, where a worker lost his life after getting caught in a garbage compactor .
The tragedy occurred while the employee was operating a claw crane that was transporting large quantities of metal to the compactor.
The incident began when the man noticed a fault in the machine and decided to personally intervene to correct it. Dressed in a blue jacket and black cap, he entered the container where waste is crushed to adjust metals that were not properly positioned.
At that time, the compactor was continuing its automatic operation, and the worker was not wearing any safety equipment, such as a helmet or harness.
Security cameras captured how, in a matter of seconds, the machine’s hydraulic press began to descend. The employee tried to escape, but was trapped, suffering a crushing that caused fatal injuries when he was broken at the waist.
