The President of Honduras was received by the Undersecretary of Welfare of Mexico, Jesús Valencia.
Honduran President Xiomara Castro arrived in Mexico City this Sunday to participate in Claudia Sheinbaum ‘s inauguration ceremony , scheduled for Tuesday, October 1.
Castro was received by Mexico’s Undersecretary of Welfare, Jesús Valencia, in a visit that underscores the strengthening of bilateral relations between the two countries.
The Honduran president will meet with Andrés Manuel López Obrador , as well as with the country’s new president, according to the announcement made by the foreign minister, Eduardo Enrique Reina.
Reina stressed that this occasion is historic, as there is a magnificent relationship between both countries.

“It is a very fruitful opportunity for the only female president in Latin America to welcome the new president of Mexico , Claudia Sheinbaum ,” said Reina.
