A young man went viral on social media after posting a controversial video on TikTok where he exposes the immigration status of his mother-in-law, who supposedly resides undocumented in the United States.
The video, which generated mixed reactions among users of the platform, emerged after the victory of Donald Trump , known for his stance against illegal immigration .
In the post, the young man ironically expressed: “Since Trump won, I hope they don’t deport my mother-in-law who entered illegally through El Paso, Texas and now lives at 1218 Apple St, Port Arthur 77619, Houston, Texas.”

She also revealed that the woman works with falsified documents in a local factory and that her workday runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
TikTok users had mixed reactions, believing that the young man’s action could lead to immigration problems for his mother-in-law, while others said the post was a joke in bad taste.

Trump against irregular migration
Donald Trump has taken a tough stance against illegal immigration in his 2024 presidential campaign. He proposes measures such as the mass deportation of undocumented immigrants , the construction of more sections of the border wall and the deployment of troops on the southern border.
Trump has also used harsh rhetoric, describing illegal immigration as an “invasion of murderers” and threatening to impose 25% tariffs on Mexico if it does not stop the flow of migrants to the United States.
