What was supposed to be an emotional farewell at a funeral in Manta, Ecuador , turned into a tragedy when a man, while trying to pay tribute to the deceased by firing into the air, accidentally killed his best friend.
The incident, which was recorded on security cameras, has sparked outrage on social media after the video went viral.
The incident occurred when the man, following a tradition of firing into the air in tribute to the deceased, lost control of the weapon. One of the shots fatally hit his friend, who was among those present at the funeral.
