Who is Cristina Fallaras?
Cristina Fallarás Sánchez is a Spanish journalist, writer and feminist activist born on March 18, 1968 in Zaragoza. She graduated in Journalism from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and has worked in various media outlets, including Cadena SER, Radio Nacional de España, El Mundo, Antena 3 and Telecinco.
Cristina is known for her defense of women’s rights and her activism in favor of Historical Memory. In 2018, she launched the hashtag #Cuéntalo, an international phenomenon where millions of women recounted the sexual assaults they had suffered. Her most recent book, “Don’t publish my name”, collects testimonies from women about sexual assaults and will be published on November 11, 2024.
