    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Ronaldo played the full 90 minutes against Scotland, meaning that he was on the pitch when the final whistle blew. Whenever that is the case, the all-time great sparks a mad scramble for his shirt – with swap requests often fielded before, during and after his appearances for Al-Nassr and Portugal.

    WHAT DEVLIN SAID

Devlin, who made his Scotland bow off the bench against Portugal, was unable to claim a prized memento. He has told reporters of who won that race, with Ronaldo throwing a post-game strop: “I think Che [Adams] might have got his top to be fair. I don’t think he was too happy at the end… I got one with my name on the back and the number one which the manager gave me, so I was delighted with that.”
