What seemed to be a typical vacation experience on the paradise island of Roatan turned into a chilling experience for a group of friends, who claim to have rented a “witch’s” house in Sandy Bay .
A young woman named Glenda, one of the tenants, recently revealed the story in the podcast Pronóstico Reservado , where she recounted the disturbing moments experienced in the residence with her companions.
The Honduran woman says that from the first day, they perceived a strange atmosphere in the house.
At first, they attributed the noises and movements to robbery attempts common in the area, but soon they began to notice disturbing details that suggested another explanation.
“Doors would open by themselves, windows would move for no reason, and we never found anyone in the house,” he said.

During a Thanksgiving celebration , the group began to feel a presence in the air.
It was then that they noticed, for the first time, that the pink walls were decorated with garlic heads hanging in every corner, and small bronze ornaments in the shape of animals, such as elephants and goats, which are commonly associated with witchcraft practices.
A disturbing cane
The most shocking thing was the discovery of a staff with a disturbing shape: “The staff had a base in the shape of an eagle’s claw, the body of a lion and the head of a snake. We investigated with a friend and discovered that this type of staff is used in high witchcraft rituals ,” added Glenda.
After investigating, the group learned that the house belonged to an old woman known for performing esoteric practices , and that the property had been rented after the woman was taken to live with her son.
Although no one was hurt, the strange events left a mark on their lives. This experience left the group with many questions and a warning for those looking to rent on the island: not everything is as it seems in paradise.
