Russia recently shared a video showing a Soviet weapon used during World War II.
This is a D-74 howitzer, dating from the 1940s. It was quickly replaced by the M-46 cannon, which had a much greater range than its predecessor, reports Midi Libre . Russia had thus liquidated its stocks of D-74s by sending them, in particular, to Vietnam and China, countries allied to the Soviet Union. And it is for this reason that we are worried about seeing this weapon reappear on the battlefield. It was recently used to attack Ukrainian forces in the Donetsk region.
In Ukraine, the general opinion is that North Korea is suspected of having delivered this howitzer to Moscow.
